I am Nancy Gilliland, an alto singer and pianist who started singing at the age of 28 after 22 years of performing professionally on piano and organ.  With a repertoire of over 2,000 songs, my favorite tunes to perform are from The Great American Songbook which I sing with emotion and sensitivity.

Being an amateur historian who loves classic films, I enjoy sharing the stories behind the songs about the composers and lyricists, artists who introduced them, and what film or Broadway show where they originated.

I perform in the San Francisco Bay Area and am available for private parties and special events, either as a solo performer or with bass and drums.  I look forward to sharing my music with you.
